What did you sport last week?

Cozy Grove
(Fancy credit: Spry Fox)

Rachel Watts played Cozy Grove, which is like Animal Crossing but rather of sinking into debt while building your aspiration interior, you're tenting on a haunted island. A preoccupied island that is haunted away haunt bears. They're friendly though, and one of them is named Jeremy Gruffle. As well as carnivore phantasms, there's the wonted life-sim stuff but with twists—resource collection plays outgoing like a hidden object plot, for example.

Morgan Green has been playacting demos for everything, because helium can. The System Shock remake generously lets you try an entire floor of its space base claustropalooza, and the full version of Outriders volition Army of the Righteou you keep shape up from its demo. He's been so impressed aside demos for retro Stealer-a-like Gloomwood and retro murder-everything-a-wish Ultrakill helium's speaking like an excited Seinfeld character. What's in the lead with that?

Mollie Taylor has been playing The Sims 4, as a survival gritty with the Eco Life-style pack, but mostly with self-pose challenges that play to its strengths. This is a game with a famish cadence later on altogether, and base-building of a sympathetic, and (if you're non unfaithful) limited resources. Information technology may not have hounds crowding around your camp at night, but it does have vampires hovering connected your porch cursing the garlic you've hung over the room access.

Tim Clark played Destiny 2 to collect some golf game balls. Well, a rare crafting material known as Ascendant Shards, but they look like golf balls so that's what Destiny 2 players call them. Then they spend 22 hours farming those golf balls by repeating the Lapplander commission over and all over while the lie of us enquire what it's entirely close to.

Enough about us. What about you? Have you been march out beyond your walls in Stronghold: Warlords, or messing with scale in Maquette? Let us know!

Jody Macgregor

Jody's first data processor was a Commodore 64, so he remembers having to use a encipher wheel to play Pool of Radiance. A former euphony journalist WHO interviewed everyone from Giorgio Moroder to Trent Reznor, Jody also co-hosted Australia's first radio show well-nig videogames, Zed Games. He's written for Rock 'n' roll Paper Shotgun, The Medium-large Outlet, GamesRadar, Zam, Glixel, and Playboy.com, whose cheques with the bunny girl logo made for entertaining conversations at the bank. Jody's first article for PC Gamer was published in 2015, he emended PC Gamer Indie from 2017 to 2018, and really did play every Warhammer videogame.
